Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Adekunle Kosoko professionally known as Adekunle Gold, has turned down a special invite by one of his fans.

The talented artiste had taken to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) to lament over his  favourite club, Manchester United’s 4-3 loss to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Adekunle Gold claimed that he loved the Red Devils too much to have his heart hurt by the team’s terrible performance on a regular basis.

He said, “I love this club way too much for this constant heartache.”

An Arsenal supporter who recognised the music star’s struggle advised him to join the Gunners instead of continually bemoaning his team.

In reaction, Adekunle Gold flatly refused to leave his beloved Manchester United for Arsenal.

The singer previously stated that he would rather eat garbage than leave Manchester United for Arsenal. “I’d rather eat shxt!” he exclaimed.
