Following the massive protests of members of the National Labour Congress across the country, the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is meeting with leaders of the union today, 02 August 2023.

This is coming after members of the NLC took to the streets across the country to register their disapproval of the fuel subsidy removal policy by the President.
Officials in attendance are, Presidents of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) Joe Ajaero and Festus Osifo respectively.
