Atalanta have reportedly rejected the latest bid for star player Ademola Lookman.

Ademola Lookman is reportedly determined to force an exit from Atalanta this summer after Inter submitted a formal bid of €42 million plus €3 million in add-ons.

On Monday, Lookman’s representatives reiterated his position to Atalanta as he seeks to finalize a transfer before the new season begins.

The 2024 Europa League winnershowever, are holding firm, insisting on their €50 million valuation and refusing to approve the deal unless their asking price is met.

Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days, but no agreement has been reached yet.

The situation remains delicately balanced, with Atalanta yet to approve the transfer. Inter are expected to evaluate their options in the coming days, deciding whether to increase their offer to meet Atalanta’s demands.

The Nigerian forward scored 20 goals in 41 appearances for Atalanta last season, leading them to UEFA Champions League qualification, and was ranked second in the annual Pulse Sports 30.
