The Super Eagles’ journey to the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been rocky, but midfielder Frank Onyeka remains hopeful about the team’s chances.

Cyber Reporters reports that despite a disappointing run in the qualifiers, Onyeka believes Nigeria can still turn things around and earn a spot in the tournament.

Nigeria’s current position in Group C is fourth, six points behind leaders South Africa.

The team has managed just one win, four draws, and one loss from six games, raising concerns about their ability to qualify.

However, Onyeka’s optimism could be the boost the team needs to revive their campaign.

The Augsburg midfielder outlined the path forward, saying, “I know we are in a difficult situation, but there’s still a chance for us.

“We just need to win our next four games and hopefully we can qualify.”

This ambitious goal will require the team to perform at their best in the upcoming matches.

The Super Eagles will face crucial tests in September when they take on Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

With determination and a strong team effort, Onyeka believes Nigeria can still achieve their goal of qualifying for the World Cup.

The team’s upcoming matches will be a crucial test of their resolve and ability to overcome adversity.
