The Zimbabwe national team, the Warriors, has arrived in Nigeria ahead of their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Super Eagles.

Cyber Reporters reports that the team landed at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport on Saturday and will head to Uyo, where they will face the Super Eagles on March 25.

The Warriors are coming off a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Benin Cheetahs in South Africa on Thursday.

They will be looking to build on that result against a strong Nigerian side that recently defeated Rwanda’s Amavubi 2-0.

The Super Eagles’ convincing victory over Rwanda sent a strong message to their opponents, and they will be looking to continue their winning form against Zimbabwe.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday.

The clash between Nigeria and Zimbabwe is expected to be intense, with both teams vying for crucial points in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Warriors will be looking to cause an upset and boost their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
