Rangers defender, Leon Balogun has issued a warning to his teammates ahead of their Europa League last-16 second-leg clash against Fenerbahçe.

Cyber Reporters reports despite securing a 3-1 win in the first leg in Turkey, Balogun is cautioning against complacency.

Balogun emphasized the importance of performing at their best this Thursday to secure a quarter-final spot.

He acknowledged that Fenerbahçe, led by experienced manager José Mourinho, poses a significant threat.

“We’re up against the Special One and some top-notch players, so it’s far from over,” Balogun said.

Balogun’s focus is solely on the Fenerbahçe game, rather than looking ahead to Sunday’s Old Firm derby against Celtic.

“For me, it’s one game at a time,” he explained. “I don’t think about the weekend too much. Those games are always big, but I’m focused on Thursday’s match.”

The Scottish side had the weekend off, but Balogun is urging his teammates to be at their optimal level this Thursday.

With a quarter-final spot within reach, Rangers will need to deliver a strong performance to overcome Fenerbahçe and advance in the Europa League.
