Nigerian singer and content creator, Oluwadolarz recently shared a disturbing encounter with a gay music executive.
According to Oluwadolarz, the executive allegedly demanded sexual favors in exchange for promoting his music.
Oluwadolarz took to Instagram to reveal the executive’s bizarre request. “You’ll promote my songs, endorse my music, and help me top the charts, but first, I have to bend over and let you have your way,” he wrote.
This incident highlights the harsh realities faced by emerging artists in the music industry as many struggle to gain recognition and support, often facing exploitation and unfair demands.
Cyber Reporters gathered that Oluwadolarz has experienced disappointment from colleagues before.
He previously spoke out about the lack of support from Sydney Talker and Lord Lamba, with whom he had lived in the past.

According to reports, sexual exploitation and harassment are common issues in the music industry as artists often face pressure to compromise their values and boundaries in exchange for career advancement.
The Nigerian music industry has seen similar cases of exploitation. In 2020, singer Temmie Ovwasa accused her former record label, Dr. Dolor Entertainment, of exploitation and emotional abuse.
Oluwadolarz’s courage in sharing his experience sparks a necessary conversation about industry ethics and artist protection.
