Nigerian striker, Umar Sadiq is set to join Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad during the January transfer window.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal has been sealed, and Sadiq is expected to undergo his medical on Friday.

Romano tweeted, “Medical today for Umar Sadiq as new Valencia player, joining on loan with a buy-option clause from Real Sociedad. Deal sealed.”

Sadiq has struggled to find regular playing time at Real Sociedad since joining from Almería. He was linked to several clubs, including Valencia, Sevilla, and Getafe, last summer.

During his time at Real Sociedad, Sadiq scored four goals and registered two assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.

The loan move to Valencia offers Sadiq a fresh start and an opportunity to revive his career.
