Nigerian music sensation, Davido has expressed his enthusiasm over Belgium’s groundbreaking decision to legalize health insurance for sex workers.

Cyber Reporters recalls that on Sunday, the Belgian government signed into law a comprehensive package of rights and protections for sex workers.

This package includes access to welfare benefits such as pensions, maternity leave, sick days, and health insurance.

Belgium’s decision makes it the first country in the world to provide health insurance to sex workers.

This move is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of sex workers in Belgium, providing them with greater security and protection.

Davido took to his X handle to share his thoughts on the development, retweeting the news and adding a caption that read: “Groundbreaking move by Belgium.”

The musician’s reaction reflects the widespread enthusiasm and support for Belgium’s decision.

The legalization of health insurance for sex workers is a significant step towards recognizing their rights and dignity.

It acknowledges that sex workers are entitled to the same protections and benefits as other workers and this move is expected to inspire other countries to follow suit and provide similar protections for sex workers.
