Davido, the famous Nigerian singer has opened up about his marriage to Chioma, revealing that she was the reason he considered getting married.
Cyber Reporters reports that in a recent interview, Davido shared that if it was not for Chioma, he would not have tied the knot.
The couple’s love story began many years ago, and they have been through ups and downs together and despite rumors of a breakup in 2020, they never confirmed or denied it.
In 2023, Davido confirmed that they had gotten married legally, and they even welcomed twins in the US.
Cyber Reporters recalls that Davido and Chioma officially got married in June 2024, and the singer announced the news on social media.
Davido’s love for Chioma is undeniable, and he has made it clear that she is the reason he decided to settle down.
He said: “My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years so it was only right I married her. I was already famous before we met but I wasn’t big then.
“If it wasn’t her [Chioma], I’m not getting married. There’s no point.”
