Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was allegedly taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday night at Lagos airport.

Cyber reporters gathered that Bobrisky was apprehended while boarding a KLM flight to Amsterdam. Airport authorities halted the flight, and immigration police escorted him off.

Reports indicate that Bobrisky resisted airport security operatives, leading to a confrontation.

On his Instagram page, Bobrisky claimed to have suffered severe injuries during the arrest, pleading for help.

“Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me, I’m badly injured,” he wrote.

The reasons behind Bobrisky’s arrest are yet to be disclosed by the EFCC.
