Nigerian crossdresser and social media personality, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, was rushed to the Police Hospital in Falomo, Lagos, after complaining of breast pain.
Cyber Reporters gathered that Bobrisky had spent several hours in a police cell at Alagbon, Lagos State, before being taken to the hospital around 2 pm.
Sources disclosed that Bobrisky’s discomfort prompted concerns among the authorities, leading to his hospitalization.
However, reports indicates that the ambulance trip was actually a decoy to transfer Bobrisky to the Special Fraud Unit, SFU, without drawing public attention.
The Commissioner of Police in charge of the SFU had visited the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID, at Alagbon to supervise Bobrisky’s transfer.
To maintain secrecy, the authorities deployed a police ambulance with the number plate LLD339LP.
Before being placed in the cell, Bobrisky was isolated from other inmates and kept in a separate location, with two armed officers assigned to guard his cell.
The police source further stated that the two armed officers remained present until Bobrisky was taken out and placed in the ambulance for transport to the Police Hospital.
Bobrisky’s hospitalization follows his arrest by the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, on Monday, after which he spent the night at the FCID, Alagbon, Lagos.
