Sevilla FC manager, Garcia Pimienta has lavished praise on Super Eagles star, Kelechi Iheanacho after the Nigerian international ended his goal drought in style.
Iheanacho scored twice in Sevilla’s dominant 3-0 Copa del Rey victory over La Rozas FC on Wednesday night.
The brace marked a turning point in Iheanacho’s struggles since joining the club on a free transfer during the summer.
Pimienta singled out Iheanacho for commendation, highlighting his impact on the team’s success.
“Iheanacho’s second-half display showcased the effectiveness required from forwards,” Pimienta said on the club’s website. “He’s been training hard, played the full 90 minutes, and his double is a huge boost. We’re optimistic about his continued growth.”
