Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel has sparked Premier League interest after rejecting a new contract proposal from his current club, Fenerbahce.

The 26-year-old defender’s decision has put top English clubs on alert, as they consider making a move for the talented right-back.

Osayi-Samuel’s current deal with Fenerbahce, managed by Jose Mourinho, runs until the summer of 2025.

However, negotiations for an extension have stalled, with the two parties far apart on valuation.

Cyber Reporters gathered that Fenerbahce offered Osayi-Samuel a net salary of €2.5m per annum.

Despite the offer, Osayi-Samuel remains unsatisfied, and the gap between his demands and the club’s proposal is significant.

Reports suggest that the two parties are €1m apart in negotiations, casting doubt on the likelihood of an agreement.

As the stalemate continues, Osayi-Samuel can sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs starting January 1.

This development has attracted Premier League clubs, who are monitoring the situation closely.

Reports say if a suitable offer is made, Osayi-Samuel may opt to leave Fenerbahce sooner rather than later.

The Nigerian defender’s impressive performances for both club and country have made him a coveted asset.

Premier League clubs are eager to capitalize on the uncertainty surrounding his future, and a potential transfer battle may ensue in the coming months.

With his contract set to expire next summer, Osayi-Samuel’s future remains uncertain.

If Fenerbahce fails to meet his demands, he may depart as a free agent, leaving the Turkish club without compensation.

The situation will unfold in the coming weeks, with Premier League clubs waiting in the wings.
