Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has announced his plans to halt refugee resettlement in the United States, US, if he wins the presidency.

Trump also vowed to address what he calls the “migrant invasion” of America.

The former US president stated on his X handle that he would immediately end the migrant influx, stopping all migrant flights and illegal entries.

He criticized the CBP One App, initiated by President Joe Biden’s administration, as a tool for smuggling undocumented migrants and promised to terminate it.

Additionally, Trump pledged to revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement, and return undocumented migrants to their home countries.

He claims that these measures will help save American cities and towns, mentioning specific states such as Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

Trump’s announcement is in line with his “Make America Great Again” slogan, which has focused on addressing illegal migration and securing US borders.

Trump wrote, “As President I will immediately end the migrant invasion of America. We will stop all migrant flights, end all illegal entries, terminate the Kamala phone app for smuggling illegals (CBP One App), revoke deportation immunity, suspend refugee resettlement, and return Kamala’s illegal migrants to their home countries (also known as remigration).

“I will save our cities and towns in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and all across America.“
