The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Isaac Omodewu has passed away in the United States of America.

Omodewu had departed Nigeria on a medical vacation in November 2023, as PUNCH had exclusively revealed.

But after nearly a year of receiving treatment for an undiagnosed illness in the United States, of which he was a citizen, he passed away.

Olawale Sadare, the state publicity secretary, confirmed the news and declared himself dead when approached by reporters.

“Our chairman is dead,” he simply said.
