Popular Nigerian musician Mayorkun has criticised senators from Nigeria, demanding that money be used to rebuild the nation’s roads rather than buy new SUVs.

The artist expressed his worries about the status of the roads and the pressing need for repairs.

He stated that the government should prioritise road repair above needless spending on expensive cars that will not ultimately benefit Nigerians, mostly because of safety issues for drivers and pedestrians.

In his statement, Mayorkun directly addressed the senators, pleading with them to prioritise road maintenance above the purchase of expensive cars.

The artist made a clear point of pointing out how awful the Lekki-Epe motorway is and how inappropriate it is.

He chastised the senators for purchasing SUVs when there was still a deficiency in vital road infrastructure.

Mayorkun voiced his displeasure, lamenting Nigeria’s terrible road conditions and emphasising how even the most accomplished drivers might be humbled by them.
