Multi-award winner and Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ogulu, has spoken out over the nationwide hunger protest.

Recall that on Thursday, Nigerians staged protests in the streets to voice their displeasure with the country’s poor leadership and the increase in food prices.

Burna Boy said on his X account on Thursday that he lost his battle for protest on October 20, 2020, during the EndSARS demonstration.

He advised his followers not to address him by name this time because protests are taking place all throughout the nation.

He wrote, while quoting a tweet he posted on October 20, 2020, “The fight in me Died on this day. Ogun go doggy anybody wey call my name this time around.
