Mohbad’s mother has made startling claims regarding her ex-husband, Mr. Joseph Aloba, claiming he wasn’t the late singer’s biological father.
During a phone conversation with a social media blogger, the aging mother left a message requesting justice. The late singer’s mother claimed in the audio tape that she had given her former husband three days to either deny or validate her claims through a DNA test. 
She went on to claim that Mohbad’s father has always been more concerned with personal enrichment than with his children’s well-being.
Her phone call was translated in part as “You thief!” I’ll give you three days to do DNA; you’ll see that Baba Mohbad isn’t Mohbad’s biological father.
“You know I’m married to someone else. He’s not the owner of those kids; he’s just taking money on their behalf, and you say you’re looking for justice for Mohbad.
Mohbad’s family seems to be in an unending squabble over his reburial, while other forms of controversy and strings of startling revelations continue to trail the artiste’s untimely death.
The former Marlian records signee, Mohbad, 27, died on 12 September and was laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos State, the following day.
