Blackface, a Nigerian singer, has reignited a long-standing debate by claiming ownership of the defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz.
The group, which was active in the late 1990s and early 2000s, consisted of Blackface, 2Face (now known as 2Baba), and Faze.
In a recent Instagram live session with media personality, Daddy Freeze, Blackface revealed his plans to revive Plantashun Boiz in 2024.
He also took the opportunity to set the record straight about the group’s origins, stating that he was the founder and leader of Plantashun Boiz.
According to Blackface, he started the group with 2Baba and later added Faze to the lineup.
He also claimed to have created the name “Plantashun Boiz,” emphasizing his role as the driving force behind the group.
Blackface’s assertion has sparked interest, with many fans eager to see the reunion of Plantashun Boiz.
However, it remains to be seen how 2Baba and Faze will respond to Blackface’s claims of ownership and leadership.
