Nigerian superstars Davido and Rudeboy have decided to come together to assist Nollywood actor Mr. John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu.
Mr. Ibu, who was laying on a hospital bed in a recent Instagram photo by MufasaTundenut, appealed to his admirers to come to his help or else his leg will be removed.
Mr. Ibu’s daughter, who was with him in the hospital, complained how she had spent all of her money on exorbitant medical expenditures.
In response, Rudeboy tagged Davido in the comments section, who pledged to pool their resources to assist Mr Ibu in getting back on his feet.
Some other celebrities such as Phyna, Sydney talker, Obi Cubana, and a host of many others also joined to aid the ailing actor.
John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, is a Nigerian actor and comedian.
He has acted in more than 200 NollyWood movies including Mr.Ibu (2004), Mr. Ibu and His Son, Coffin Producers, Husband Suppliers, International Players, Mr.Ibu in London (2004), Police Recruit (2003), 9 Wives (2005), Ibu in Prison (2006) and Keziah (2007).
Mr Ibu also ventured into music. He did music for a short period of time. On October 15, 2020 he released his songs titled “This girl and Do you know”.
