Popular American singer, Rihanna and rapper Asap Rocky have revealed the name of their second child, one month after his birth.
According to a birth certificate obtained by The Blast, the couple has chosen to name their newborn son “Riot Rose Mayers.”
The birth certificate also disclosed that the baby was born on 1st of August at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Their first child, a son, was named RZA Athelston Mayers, paying tribute to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA, following his birth in May 2022.
The name “Riot Rose Mayers” is already sparking curiosity among fans and followers.
Some speculate that the moniker might be a reference to A$AP Rocky’s recent track, “Riot,” released in July, which featured the acclaimed Pharrell Williams.
During her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in February, Rihanna shocked everyone by announcing her second pregnancy.
Her compassionately cradling her expanding baby bulge on stage caught viewers’ attention, which led to a lot of rumours.
Insiders told Entertainment Tonight that the couple initially planned to adopt a low-key parenting style and keep their family life private after the news of their son’s birth broke out.
