A former Senator from Kaduna State and popular political rival of El-Rufai, Shehu Sani has described the speculation of a possible merger between the other three major presidential candidates.

There have been speculations that the Presidential candidates of the New Nigeria Pepple’s Party, The Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party may be nursing a merger.

Rabiu Kwakwaso, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi have been rumored to be planning a merger in the possible event of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal calling for a rerun.

However, Sen. Sani believes that may be a move he describes as “studying geography after an earthquake” simple indicating that the decision may be a futile one, as the time is long gone.

Although, there has been no reaction to the rumor from all three Presidential candidates.
