Just in: Tinubu forwards Second Ministerial list to Nat’l Assembly

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has forwarded the second list of ministerial nominees to the Senate. the list was conveyed to the house by chief of staff to the president, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila. 

The second list includes nominees from the 11 states exempted from the initial list.

To allow Gbajiabiamila presented the list to the Senate at about 3:15 pm today, 02 August 2023.

Nominees like  Dele Alake, current aide to the president appeared  before the house.

The Senate president, Sen. Godswill Akpabio is yet to read out the names of the newly listed nominees in the floor of the house.

States like Bayelsa may have experienced some internal party wrangling resulting to the delay by the President, Tinubu in forwarding a nominee from the State in the initial list. sources reveal.
