Manchester United has revealed that two of its players have been loaned out to new clubs. Emma Watson is a midfielder, while Jess Simpson is a defender.
The Red Devils confirmed this in separate postings on their website on Tuesday. Watson, 18, will spend the rest of the season at Everton of the Barclays Women’s Super League.
The Scottish youngster made her Manchester United debut against the Toffees in November. She joined the Red Devils from the Rangers in August 2023.
Simpson, however, has joined Barclays Women’s Championship club Bristol City on loan for the remainder of the current season.
Her senior Reds debut came in November’s League Cup victory over Everton. The 19-year-old recently made her England U23 debut.
