Popular skit maker, Adesokan Emmanuel aka Shank Comics has announced his retirement from Internet fraud after failing to profit from an internet scam despite knowing it for six months.
He claimed that his trainer urged him to resign because he was not successful at fraud.
Emmanuel stated that his trainer presented him with an iPhone 6 and pushed him to come home.
In a recent episode of the 9jafathemousfaces podcast, the comedy star revealed this.
He said: “When I graduated in 2019, I went to Oshogbo to learn Yahoo [internet fraud],” Shank explained. I didn’t cash out $100 or even N5 for around six months.
“It was even the person who was teaching me who asked me to quit and go back home. He gave me an iPhone 6 and I went home.
My daddy that time dey shout say, you graduated with 2.2 from engineering department blablabla. That time my life don spoil. I just start to dey drink, dey do things.”
