Bayern Munich snatched a dramatic 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final in the second leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening.
The Bavarians have now progressed to the semi-finals after winning 6-4 on aggregate. They will face holders Paris Saint-Germain, who knocked Liverpool out on Tuesday.
Madrid got off to a flying start, opening the scoring inside 45 seconds as Arder Guler curled into the net from 25 yards, scoring the Los Blancos fastest goal in the competition.
Bayern restored parity in the sixth minute as Aleksandar Pavlovic headed Joshua Kimmich’s cross beyond Andriy Lunin.
Guler restored Madrid’s lead just before the half-hour mark, curling a beautiful free-kick beyond Neuer.
Bayern drew level once again in the 38th minute, with Harry Kane finding the bottom corner clinically, registering his 50th goal across all competitions.
