Real Madrid have suffered a double injury blow following their LaLiga 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

The Los Blancos confirmed in a separate statement via their website on Monday that two of their players, Fede Valverde and Thibaut Courtois, have undergone medical tests.

Valverde was diagnosed with an injury to the semimembranosus muscle in his right thigh.

His recovery will be assessed in the coming days.

Courtois, on the other hand, was diagnosed with an injury to the long abductor muscle in his right leg.

His recovery will also be assessed in the coming days.

Both Courtois and Valverde will hope to recover on time and play for Real Madrid after the international break.

Real Madrid’s next game is against Elche after the international break.
