Nigerian international Player Moses Simon has been named Nantes Player of the Month for December in France.
Simon has won two Player of the Month awards this season, the first coming in September.
According to the club, the 29-year-old received 44% of the votes, outperforming colleagues Douglas Augusto, Nicolas Cozza, and Matthis Abline to win the prestigious award.
The young winger’s excellent December efforts featured a goal and an assist in just two Canaries games.
He scored the winning goal in Nantes’ 1-0 victory over Stade Rennes and contributed an assist in their 4-1 loss to Brest.
This is Simon’s second Player of the Month honor this season; he won the first in September 2024.
The 29-year-old will get his prize before Nantes’ home game against AS Monaco on Friday, January 10th, at La Beaujoire.
