Victor Osimhen will be aiming to equal the record for the most Champions League goals scored in a single season by a player representing a Turkish club when Galatasaray take on Liverpool on Tuesday night.

The Round of 16 first leg encounter will hold at the RAMs Park.

Burak Yilmaz currently holds the record after scoring eight goals for Galatasaray during the 2012/13 season.

Osimhen has already scored seven times in the Champions League this season.

Much will be expected from the Nigeria international, who played a crucial role in Galatasaray’s playoff round victory over Serie A giants Juventus.
