Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has become the Premier League club’s highest-paid player with his new contract.

According to the BBC, all the formalities have been wrapped up between both parties over a five-year deal.

This fresh agreement will see Saka earn around £300,000-a-week with the Gunners.

Saka’s contract was set to expire next summer, but Arsenal have moved quickly to tie the 24-year-old down.

The news is a major boost for Mikel Arteta, as his team fights on four fronts to win silverware for the first time since 2020.

Saka has scored seven goals in 33 appearances this term.

He joins the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, and Ethan Nwaneri in committing their futures to Arsenal.
