Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has dismissed reports of Chelsea’s move to sign Vinicius from Real Madrid.

Reports had emerged that the Premier League west London club is planning to bring the Brazilian international to Stamford Bridge amid the ongoing January transfer window.

It added that the Blues are ready to make a £135million bid for Vinicius, with the player’s future still up in the air at the Santiago Bernabeu due to reported tension brewing between him and Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso.

However, Romano has now rubbished the reports, insisting that there are currently no talks between both clubs over Vinicius’ transfer.

He added that Vinicius is completely focused on his contract with the Los Blancos.

Reports on Vinicius Jr and Chelsea are completely wide of mark. No talks, no bid, no negotiations,” Romano wrote on X on Wednesday.

“Vini Jr remains completely focused on Real Madrid, contract situation to be assessed.”
