Professional football player, Samuel Chukwueze has said the Super Eagles are firmly focused on securing a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Super Eagles booked a spot in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup African playoffs following a 4-1 victory over Gabon on Thursday night.

Éric Chelle’s men will battle the Leopards of Democratic Republic of Congo for a place in the Intercontinental playoffs on Sunday.

Chukwueze declared that their target is to beat Sebastian Desabre’s side.

“We are feeling good. We can celebrate a little bit because we have a game in a couple of days, the most important one is on Sunday. We have to focus on that,” the Fulham told ESPN.

The encounter slated for the Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, Rabat will start at 8pm Nigerian time.
