Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has named Arsenal as the ‘best team’ in the Premier League this season.

He said this after watching Manchester City’s 3-0 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s side moved to second place, displacing Chelsea after their win over Liverpool and are currently four points behind Arsenal.

Carragher told Sky Sports, “Twice in the last three years, they’ve come from behind and caught Arsenal.

“Liverpool are the champions but City took them to the cleaners.

“They [Arsenal] might be getting a few flashbacks to the last couple of times they had a chance at a title.

I still think Arsenal are the best team I’ve seen in the Premier League this season, no doubt.”

Arsenal are four points behind Manchester City going into the international break and would come back to winning ways in their next league game.
