FIFA has officially launched Trionda, the match ball that will be used at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, during a ceremony held in New York City on Thursday.

Designed by long-time World Cup partner Adidas, the ball combines cutting-edge technology with symbolic artistry, representing the unique identity of the three host nations, the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Trionda’s design incorporates the red, blue, and green colours of the host nations, along with distinctive cultural emblems: Canada’s maple leaf, Mexico’s eagle, and the U.S. stars.

These are connected by a triangular motif, reflecting unity among the three countries set to host the tournament.

“We are delighted and proud to present this ball for what will be the first-ever World Cup hosted by three nations,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
