The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face Colombia in an international friendly match scheduled for November 18 at the Citi Field in New York.

Cyber Reporters gathered this match is part of the team’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco in December.

Prior to the Colombia match, the Super Eagles will play against Venezuela on November 14 at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.

This friendly match will serve as a crucial warm-up for the team, led by coach Eric Chelle, as they gear up for the upcoming tournament.

Colombia, on the other hand, has a match lined up against New Zealand on November 15 in Fort Lauderdale, which will be followed by their encounter with Nigeria.

These matches will likely provide valuable insights into the teams’ current form and readiness for their respective competitions.

The Super Eagles have a busy schedule ahead, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers approaching next month.

They will face Lesotho and Benin Republic in the qualifiers, making these friendly matches essential for fine-tuning their strategy and team dynamics.

These international friendlies will undoubtedly provide a platform for the Super Eagles to test their skills, work on their weaknesses, and build momentum ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup qualifiers.
