Manchester United floors Chelsea 2-1 in a highly entertaining Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
Saturday evening provided an absolute thriller at Old Trafford as Manchester United held on for a crucial win against title hopefuls Chelsea.
Both sides started the game in contrasting form, with United boss Ruben Amorim seemingly on thin ice, with another defeat reportedly set to push him closer to the exit.
Chelsea, meanwhile, were looking to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
Chelsea’s evening started disastrously, as goalkeeper Robert Sánchez was sent off after just five minutes for a reckless challenge on Bryan Mbeumo outside the box.
Manchester United capitalised on their numerical advantage, with Bruno Fernandes scoring his 100th goal for the club and Casemiro heading in a second to give the hosts a comfortable lead at halftime.
However, the game turned into a red-card thriller when Casemiro received a second yellow card in added time of the first half, reducing both teams to ten men.
