Liverpool maintained their perfect start to the Premier League season with a convincing win over Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.

Cyber Reporters reports that the Reds took control early, with Ryan Gravenberch scoring a cleverly lofted finish from Mohamed Salah’s pass after 10 minutes.

This goal set the tone for the match, showcasing Liverpool’s attacking prowess.

Gravenberch continued to make an impact, turning provider just before the half-hour mark.

He played a crucial pass to Hugo Ekitike, who doubled Liverpool’s lead with a low shot that beat Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

This second goal further solidified Liverpool’s dominance on the pitch.

Liverpool demonstrated the strength of their squad by leaving summer signings Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak, worth a combined £241m, on the bench until the second half.

This tactical decision allowed the team to maintain their intensity and control the game.

Despite the substitutions, Everton began to show signs of improvement as the match progressed.

Everton pulled a goal back in the 58th minute through Idrissa Gueye, who scored with a powerful rising drive after being set up by Iliman Ndiaye from Jack Grealish’s cross.

Despite the late surge from Everton, Liverpool managed to hold on for the win, extending their unbeaten start to the season.
