Bukayo Saka is set to miss England’s World Cup qualifying matches against Andorra and Serbia, as well as Arsenal’s Premier League matchup with Liverpool due to injury.

During Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Leeds, the winger suffered a hamstring injury.

Although Sky Sports News stated that the problem is temporary, reports indicate Saka may miss up to four weeks of action.

Following an uncomfortable landing on his right shoulder during the decisive victory at the Emirates Stadium, captain Martin Odegaard is also questionable for Sunday’s trip to Anfield.

Arsenal is still hopeful that Odegaard’s injury won’t be a long-term issue.

Before the first international break of the new season, Mikel Arteta’s team takes on the defending Premier League winners.

On Saturday, September 6, England hosts Andorra at Villa Park. Three days later, they play in Belgrade.

Although this issue is with his left leg, Saka lost three and a half months of the previous season after having surgery on his right hamstring.

His anticipated absence from Merseyside may allow Eberechi Eze, who recently arrived from Crystal Palace, to make his Arsenal debut.
Gunners boss Arteta, who has already seen forward Kai Havertz suffer a knee problem this season, has more attacking talent at his disposal than last term.
