Manchester United apparently failed to acquire a new goalkeeper to replace the error-prone Andre Onana.

Premier League’s opening matches due to a torn hamstring, manager Ruben Amorim is searching for a reliable shot-stopper.

Amorim has already brought in Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford to bolster the squad, but there are still more holes to fill.

Over the weekend, United explored a loan move for the 32-year-old World Cup-winning goalkeeper, but Villa officials dismissed the proposal outright, according to the Daily Mail.
