Galatasaray have reached a full agreement with Napoli for the permanent transfer of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, following his prolific loan spell in the 2024/25 season.

The Turkish champions will activate Osimhen’s €75 million release clause, paying €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million due by the end of 2026. Napoli will also receive €5 million in performance-related bonuses and retain a 10% sell-on clause.

Crucially, the agreement includes an anti-Serie A clause, barring the Nigerian forward from moving to any Italian rival for the next two years.

Osimhen, 26, reignited his form during his loan at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals and registering eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. That tally included 26 goals and five assists in the Turkish Super League, where he played a key role in Okan Buruk’s title-winning side.

The Nigerian international is now expected to lead Galatasaray’s attack on a permanent basis as they prepare for Champions League football in the 2025/26 season.
