Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, has taken a significant step towards the Champions League final with a 1-0 win over Arsenal in the semi-final first leg.

Cyber Reporters reports that the Ligue 1 champions showcased their quality with a well-crafted victory at the Emirates.

The only goal of the game came courtesy of Ousmane Dembele, who capitalized on a brilliant build-up involving Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Dembele’s first-time finish past David Raya was clinical and precise, leaving the Arsenal goalkeeper with no chance.

Arsenal had a golden opportunity to level the score line immediately after halftime when Mikel Merino headed in Declan Rice’s free-kick.

However, the goal was ruled out by VAR for offside, dealing a significant blow to Mikel Arteta’s side.

Despite dominating possession, PSG’s attacking flair was consistently thwarted by Arsenal’s defense, with Gianluigi Donnarumma making crucial saves to deny Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.

The win gives PSG a valuable advantage heading into the second leg at the Parc des Princes next week.

Arsenal will need to find a way to overcome the deficit and book their spot in the final, making for an intriguing return fixture.
