Nigeria’s Flamingos have secured a spot in the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after holding Algeria to a 0-0 draw in the second leg of their qualifying match in Blida.

Cyber Reporters reports that with a 4-0 aggregate victory, Bankole Olowookere’s side advanced to the tournament.

Despite dominating the match, the Flamingos struggled with poor finishing, while the wintry conditions in Blida added to their challenges.

Algeria had a late opportunity, hitting the woodwork just a minute shy of full time.

The Flamingos were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the last edition by the United States.

Cyber Reporters understands that this year’s tournament will be held in Morocco, starting October 17.

The Flamingos will look to build on their momentum as they compete in the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
