Valencia secured a 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de Vallecas Cyber Reporters reports.

The match saw Valencia fall behind just before halftime when Cesar Tarrega scored an own goal, giving Rayo Vallecano the lead going into the break.

However, the game took a turn when Nigerian forward, Umar Sadiq was introduced as a substitute for Andre Almeida in the 66th minute.

Sadiq made an immediate impact, scoring the equalizer 16 minutes from time.

The 27-year-old’s goal was his fifth in 10 league appearances for Valencia this season, showcasing his growing influence on the team.

Sadiq’s equalizer not only salvaged a point for Valencia but also extended their unbeaten streak.

Under manager Carlos Corberán, Valencia has now gone seven league games without defeat, matching their longest unbeaten run since December 2021.

This recent form could be a positive sign for the team as they look to build momentum in the league.
