Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah has extended his stay at Anfield, signing a new contract that will keep him at the club beyond the 2024-25 season.

Cyber Reporters gathered that the Egyptian superstar, who joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, has been having an incredible campaign, scoring 32 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Salah, 32, is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with 27 goals and has also registered 22 assists for his teammates.

He expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with the Merseyside club, citing the team’s potential to win more trophies as a major factor in his decision.

The news is a significant boost for manager Arne Slot, who will be relying on Salah’s contributions as Liverpool looks to compete for major honors once again.

Salah is already considered one of the club’s greatest players, ranking third on Liverpool’s all-time top scorer list with 243 goals in 394 appearances.

During his time at Anfield, Salah has helped the Reds win seven major trophies, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and FA Cup.

He has also received numerous individual accolades, including three Premier League Golden Boot awards and two PFA Players’ Player of the Year honors.

In a message to the fans, Salah thanked them for their continued support, saying, “I would like to say to [the fans], I am very, very happy to be here.

I signed here because I believe we can win a lot of big trophies together. Keep supporting us and we’ll give it our best, and hopefully in the future we’re going to win more trophies.”
