Man City Freeze Ticket Prices for 2025-26

Manchester City has frozen season ticket and matchday ticket pricing for the 2025-26 season after consulting with the club’s fan advisory board.

City conducted an exceptional meeting with City Matters on April 3 and stated that the decision was reached after “positive and constructive dialogue” with the board in recent weeks.

Some City Matters representatives went on strike in March because the club refused to negotiate season ticket rates.

This came after seven prominent fan groups wrote an open letter to chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak in February, protesting about ticket price increases and the possibility of local fans being excluded.

“The club would like to thank City Matters representatives for the feedback they provide on a range of topics relating to ticketing, and for sharing a broad range of perspectives from the fans they represent,” said City.

The announcement comes after increased fan outrage for agreeing to a global collaboration with third-party ticket resale site Viagogo, their seventh partnership with a ticket resale company.

City was accused of being “tone deaf” amid worries that hospitality tickets could be offered to away supporters and regular tickets could be sold at exorbitant prices.
