Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta expressed his delight following a thrilling 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Cyber Reporters reports that the Gunners’ players delivered a magnificent performance, particularly in the second half, with Declan Rice shining as the standout star.

Rice’s two spectacular free-kicks captivated the crowd and shifted the momentum in favor of Arsenal.

Mikel Merino added a third goal, calmly finishing Myles Lewis-Skelly’s low cross to further establish Arsenal’s dominance.

In his post-match interview, Arteta praised the electric atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium, saying, “Beautiful. So happy, so proud of the team.”

Arteta marveled at the pre-game energy, noting that the fans were already singing and creating a buzz.

He emphasized the importance of such an atmosphere for major European fixtures, stating, “For big European nights, you need large stadiums that foster an incredible ambiance.”

Arteta also highlighted the significance of Rice’s free-kicks, which came against a formidable opponent like Real Madrid.

The win marks a notable achievement for Arsenal, with Rice’s free-kicks being a highlight of the match.

Arteta’s team now looks forward to the return leg, seeking to build on their impressive performance and make a strong case for advancing in the Champions League.
