Manchester City Manager, Pep Guardiola, has been given a one-game ban after being issued a yellow card in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final victory against Bournemouth.

Stuart Atwell, the referee, booked Guardiola for dissent after bringing down forward Erling Haaland during the game.

Haaland was pulled off with an apparent knee injury following a tackle by Lewis Cook.

The Norwegian striker indicated for a substitution as Bournemouth continued to play, prompting an angry reaction from City.

Kevin De Bruyne was spotted exchanging words with Cook, and Guardiola was booked after expressing his thoughts on the matter.

The yellow card is Guardiola’s third of this campaign and means he will not be on the touchline when City host Leicester in the Premier League on Wednesday.
