FIFA has announced that the victors of the 2025 Club World Cup will get up to $125 million.

This was confirmed by FIFA president Gianni Infantino in a statement released on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, the world football governing body revealed a total prize fund of $1 billion for the event, which will be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13.

Approximately half of the $1 billion purse will be split among all 32 clubs, with the amount determined by sporting and commercial criteria.

In a scheme created by FIFA and the European Club Association, larger clubs such as Manchester City and Real Madrid will earn a higher percentage than smaller clubs.

A further $475 million will be awarded on a performance-related basis. This will see the team with the most wins over a potential seven matches bank more cash, with a maximum pot of $125 million available.
