Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Wizkid has expressed pleasure with the Super Eagles’ preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.

Remember that Eric Chelle, the new head coach, led his first training session with the Super Eagles on Tuesday afternoon.

Wizkid responded on his X Twitter on Wednesday, expressing his admiration for the current Super Eagles team under Chelle.  “The new Super Eagles team!  “I love the energy,” he tweeted.

The World Cup qualifying game is slated for Friday, March 21, at 5 p.m. Nigerian time at Rwanda’s Amahoro Stadium.  Following the match, Nigeria will host Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles need to secure all available points from both games to keep their World Cup dream alive.
